Planners and Affordable Housing Committees

Municipal planners and Affordable Housing Committees are key local stakeholders in making the case for long-term affordable homes. HousingWorks RI continues to add to the data collected each year, and seeks to collaborate in building more resources for you.

Affordable Homes
Affordable homes developed by local non-profit community development corporations (CDCs) seek to build housing that fits within all communities and meets all kinds of needs: Kane's Way in Bristol, developed by East Bay CDC, 19 affordable homeownership units; Sandywood Farms in Tiverton, developed by Church Community Housing Corporation, 50 affordable rental homes; The Meadows in North Smithfield, developed by NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley, 80 affordable rental homes for seniors aged 62+.

Housing data and education are the cornerstones of what HousingWorks RI seeks to provide to municipal planners and Affordable Housing Committees in helping you explain the "how" and "why" of long-term affordable housing.
