WARM: Rev. Jean Barry

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is with deep sadness that I write to inform you all of the passing of my dear friend, mentor and colleague, Reverend Jean Barry. For those of you who didn't know Jean, she was a champion fighter for the homeless and those experiencing poverty. Jean spent her life fighting for equality for all. In our small town of Westerly she changed the way the community addressed homelessness and brought the WARM shelter from a small shelter for the homeless to a social service agency that provides Compassion, Hope and Dignity to more than 3,000 people a year. Jean touched the lives of so many not only here in Westerly but across the state. I ask that you keep her in your prayers. She will be missed by so many
