The Valley Breeze: Organization gathering items to help Pawtucket's homeless students

PAWTUCKET - Alexandrea Gonzalez, founder and CEO of the nonprofit Gather Together United as 1, is seeking donations to fill backpacks with items for Pawtucket's homeless youth.

In a letter asking for donations from city officials and members of the Pawtucket Police Department, Gonzalez said the organization aims to provide support for at-risk and unsuccessful populations in Pawtucket and its surrounding areas with all of their basic needs.
