The Valley Breeze: Crossroads opens emergency homeless shelter as COVID-19 cases increase
PROVIDENCE - Anticipating an increased need for socially-distanced emergency shelter as winter approaches, Crossroads Rhode Island has announced the opening of a temporary emergency shelter with sleeping accommodations for up to 30 individuals.
A press release from Crossroads said people experiencing homelessness are more likely to contract and suffer severe complications from COVID-19.
