Free and open to appropriate boards and commissions, as well as municipal staff.

Join us for a one-day comprehensive training for members of Rhode Island planning boards, zoning boards, historic district commissions, conservation commissions, municipal staff, and city/town councils.

Topics covered include: Basics of your role, best communication practices for board and commission members, conducting land use reviews and site is its, introduction to resiliency issues and solutions, making legally defensible decisions, and more.

The event is FREE to attend for appropriate personnel.

A light breakfast and full lunch will be provided.
