The Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources invites you to a Public Meeting on Broadening Access to Community Solar in Rhode Island. The meeting is repeated, so you may click on the Registration link below for the day and time that works best for you.

Choose one of three Zoom meeting sessions, planned so you can share your views and learn more about Rhode Island's proposed Community Solar Program expansion. A final proposal will be submitted by the State of Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) for regulatory approval this fall. Among other program changes, the proposal would recommend at least 20% of each new community solar project's generation would serve low- and moderate-income renters and homeowners in our state. Whether you are a community advocate, a local sustainability proponent, a solar industry advocate, or an interested citizen, you are invited to join us by completing this Registration. Your Registration Confirmation e-mail will provide a Zoom meeting link and will also tell you how to join by phone, if you do not have Internet access. The Rhode Island OER and our stakeholders statewide appreciate your participation in this free event, and we look forward to hearing from you.
