Newport Daily News: Affordability a top goal of officials

MIDDLETOWN - Town Council members say they want to deal with the challenges ahead for the town in the coming year, but do it in a way that keep property taxes affordable for residents.

“We have a lot in the hopper and we have to clean up what we have in front of us,” said Council President Robert Sylvia.
