Ribbon-cutting and dedication in Providence!

On Monday, June 13th at 11:30 a.m., U.S. Senator Jack Reed will join Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, Rhode Island Housing, and their community partners to celebrate the completion of new homes for veterans at 963 Chalkstone Avenue in Providence.

These new homes are being dedicated in honor of Sgt. Gregory A. Belanger of Narragansett. He was the first Rhode Islander killed in action in Iraq and died five days after his 24th birthday. He was a sergeant with the 325th Military Intelligence Battalion, Army Reserve. Members of the Belanger family will be in attendance.

Location will be tented and light refreshments will be provided.
