From Thursday, April 18th through Sunday, May 12th, the Yellow Peril Gallery will present Foreclosed Dreams, a photo essay by David H. Wells exploring the empty homes and foreclosed dreams left in the wake of the foreclosure crisis. This exhibition will be guest curated by Viera Levitt.
Wells started the project with the goal of understanding the economic upheaval people are living through. He initially photographed in the Central Valley of California, but also focused on Rhode Island, where he lives. The opening reception for this exhibit is on Thursday, April 18, from 5-9 p.m., during Gallery Night Providence.
