HousingWorks RI welcomes three new board members!

HousingWorks RI is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors ­– Ian Lang, Noreen Shawcross, and George Zainyeh.
 

Ian Lang - HousingWorks RI Board MemberLang is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at The Providence Center. Previously, Lang was the President and Co-founder of Lang Taylor, Ltd., a political and public relations firm in Providence. Lang is also an active member of the HousingWorks RI communications committee.

Shawcross recently retired from her role as the Chief of Housing and Community Development for State of Rhode Island. Prior to her work with the Housing Resources Commission, Shawcross served as the Executive Director for the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless for seven years.

George Zainyeh - HousingWorks RI Board MemberZainyeh is the vice-president for strategic initiatives at The Princeton Review. Prior to joining The Princeton Review, Zainyeh was Rhode Island district director and most recently Chief of Staff for United States Congressman Patrick Kennedy, spanning nine years.
