HousingWorks RI to Host American Planning Association Rhode Island Chapter
Event Date: May 21, 2010 - 12:00 pm
The availability of quality, affordable homes is critical to Rhode Island's economic wellbeing. Yet, certain factors such as location, aesthetics, environmental and community impact must be considered for thoughtful future development. Rhode Island's municipal planners play a critical role, and are a vital part of the conversation as we work together to increase the supply of quality, affordable homes.
This Friday, May 21 from 12:00-2:00pm, HousingWorks RI (HWRI) will host a luncheon conversation with the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Planning Association. HousingWorks RI Executive Director Nellie M. Gorbea and Burrillville Planner and HWRI Board Member Tom Kravitz will present an update on HousingWorks RI's research gathering and data analysis, as well as review the tools we offer to assist in information gathering.
This event will be held at the Rhode Island Foundation, One Union Station, Providence, RI. If you are a planner and would like to attend, please RSVP to Krista D. Moravec at 401-272-6000 (x382) or via email at KMoravec@maguiregroup.com.
