July 27, 2007: $10 million awarded The Housing Resources Commission today announced that it had awarded $10 million to 20 affordable housing developments under the Building Homes Rhode Island program. The funding, for developments in 17 different cities and towns, is the first to be issued as a result of the $50 million affordable housing bond approved by voters last November.
