Send us your story!
Do you have a housing story, or do you know someone who does? The "faces and places" of affordable housing in Rhode Island will be a huge part of the HousingWorks RI campaign for the $50 million housing bond.
What does your home mean to you? What impact has the high cost of housing in Rhode Island had on you, someone you care about or a coworker? Has your agency worked with someone who has a powerful personal story?
Tell us your story by sending an email to jrutledge@HousingWorksRI.org, and you might be featured in our campaign.

Sen. Reed to mark preservation, renovation of 32 Narragansett apartments
On August 18, Sen. Jack Reed will celebrate the renovation of the former Driftwood Apartments in Narragansett.
Preservation of Affordable Housing, a Boston-based nonprofit, bought the property last year from a for-profit developer that had considered replacing the affordable apartments with condominiums. The 36-year-old property has been renovated and renamed Water's Edge and will remain affordable for another 40 years.
The ribbon-cutting will begin at 10:00 a.m. at 130 Caswell Street in Narragansett.
