HousingWorks Rally at the State House a huge success
Hundreds push for passage of platform
Advocates were there. Business and religious leaders were there. Legislators were there. Citizens from all walks of life calling for the passage of the HousingWorks Platform were everywhere.

“This rally proves the whole community is paying attention to the housing crisis,” said Carol Golden, Acting President of The Rhode Island Foundation. “Seeing legislators and business leaders standing side by side with citizens from around the state affected by this crisis was incredible and very encouraging. This rally is a critical step in our effort to make sure all Rhode Islanders have a safe, clean and affordable place to live.”

The success of the rally proves our momentum. But we’re not done yet. Contact your legislator and let them know the rally is not a one-time event. Urge them to pass the platform and take a stand against Rhode Island’s housing crisis!
