Glocester is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island. The villages of Chepachet and Harmony are in Glocester. Glocester was part of Providence until 1731. North Glocester was incorporated as the separate town of Burrillville in 1806. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 56.8 square miles, 2.0 square miles of which are water. Glocester is governed by a five-member Town Council, which meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall in Chepachet.
